CT University Promotes Wellness Through Impactful Health Awareness Event

Students Drive Change with Health Walk and Street Play Focused on Mental and Physical Well-being

In a vibrant and impactful celebration of health consciousness, the School of Allied Health Sciences at CT University hosted a dynamic Health Awareness Event, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students and faculty alike.

The event aimed to ignite dialogue around holistic well-being—addressing both physical health and mental wellness.

The day began with an energetic Health Walk Parade, as students marched across the CTU campus holding bold, colorful banners and chanting slogans promoting fitness, unity, and preventive care.

Their spirited presence turned heads and emphasized the importance of leading a balanced and healthy lifestyle in today’s demanding world.

Adding depth to the initiative was a compelling Nukkad Natak (street play) on the pressing issue of Mental Health. The performance highlighted the emotional and psychological challenges individuals face, stressing the importance of open conversations, destigmatization, and access to support systems.

With powerful storytelling and passionate delivery, students successfully conveyed the need for greater sensitivity, compassion, and awareness in society.

The combination of physical engagement through the parade and mental health advocacy through the play offered a truly holistic representation of well-being—reinforcing CT University’s commitment to grooming socially responsible professionals.

Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh applauded the students’ efforts, stating,“Initiatives like these reflect the progressive mindset of our youth. It’s heartening to see students not only learning but also leading societal change. The School of Allied Health Sciences is doing exemplary work in building future health professionals who care deeply about community well-being.”

Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Nitin Tandon added,“Mental health is a topic that demands urgent attention, and I am proud that our students are pioneering that conversation. Their creativity, sensitivity, and leadership in such awareness programs exemplify the ethos of CT University.”
