Stars of Punjab Shine Bright at CT University

Over 800 top-performing Class 12 students recognised in a grand ceremony at CT University

In a remarkable celebration of academic brilliance, CT University organised the “Shining Star Felicitation Program” to honour the dedication and hard work of Class 12 students from across Punjab.

The grand ceremony witnessed the participation of over 800 attendees, including students, parents, educators, and university officials. The event recognised the outstanding achievements of 310 meritorious students, lauding their consistent performance in academics.

These students, representing various schools across the state, were honoured for their impressive board exam results and unwavering commitment to excellence.

A total of 200 students were conferred with the title of “Exceptional Achievers” for securing 75% and above in their Class 12 examinations. Additionally, 90 students were recognised as “Star Achievers” for achieving marks between 60% to 75%.

The program also extended special recognition to 20 State Toppers, each of whom scored above 90%, setting a benchmark of academic excellence.

Addressing the gathering, CT University Chairman Charanjit Singh Channi shared his heartfelt congratulations:
“At CT University, we believe that recognising and nurturing young talent is not just our responsibility but our privilege. These students represent the future of our nation, and it is our honour to celebrate their success.”

The felicitation program also included insightful speeches from Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Vice Chancellor, who spoke about the university’s mission to empower students with holistic education and futuristic skills.

The event was graced by distinguished university officials including Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Nitin Tandon, Registrar Mr. Sanjay Khanduri, Dean Academics Dr. Simranjeet Kaur Gill and Director Student Welfare Er. Davinder Singh.

Karan Bhardwaj, Assistant Director Admissions and Digital Branding Head, and Dr. Rupali, Deputy Director Admissions, also addressed the gathering, sharing motivational insights and highlighting the dynamic learning environment at CT University.


As a token of encouragement, CT University offered all honorers an on-the-spot admission benefit, featuring a 25% discount on the first semester fee (subject to terms and conditions). This initiative underlined the university’s commitment to making quality higher education more accessible to deserving students.

A lively interaction session was held with Chairman Charanjit Singh Channi, where students and parents had the opportunity to share their experiences and aspirations. A fun and engaging quiz segment further added excitement to the day, making it both memorable and inspirational.
