CT University Launches UltraTech Cement Centre of Excellence

CT University has marked a significant milestone in strengthening industry-academia collaboration with the inauguration of the UltraTech Cement Centre of Excellence by its Department of Civil Engineering.

Established in partnership with UltraTech Cement, the state-of-the-art facility is designed to provide students with advanced practical knowledge and hands-on industry exposure.

The Centre of Excellence is equipped with modern tools, materials, and technologies that will enable civil engineering students to gain real-world experience in construction practices and material testing. Through this initiative, students will benefit from specialized training modules, exposure to innovative construction techniques, and opportunities to participate in industrial visits. The collaboration also ensures strong placement support, offering up to 100% placement assistance both in India and abroad.

The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of key dignitaries from UltraTech Cement, including Vivek Jain, Joint Executive President; Ashish Kapil, Vice President; Gaurav Sangwan, Manager; and Gautam Gupta, Senior Officer. Their presence highlighted the importance of this collaboration in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements.

Senior members of the university management also attended the event, including Sd. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chancellor; Sanjay Khanduri, Registrar; Davinder Singh, Director DSW; Dr. Arvind Kumar, Deputy Dean, School of Engineering and Technology; and Dr. Abhilash Thakur, Head of the Civil Engineering Department.
