CT University Celebrates Dussehra 2025 with Spectacular Inter-School Ravana Effigy Contest

Students Showcase Creativity and Team Spirit in “Aaj Ka Ravan Kaun?” Challenge

Dignitaries Laud Talent and Cultural Enthusiasm, Highlighting Triumph of Good Over Evil

CT University proudly celebrated Dussehra 2025 with great enthusiasm, bringing together students from various institutions for the much-awaited Inter-School Ravana Effigy Making Contest, organized by the Division of Student Welfare (DSW). The event was a vibrant showcase of creativity, teamwork, and the age-old message of the triumph of good over evil. Aptly themed “Aaj Ka Ravan Kaun?”, the competition encouraged students to explore their artistic talents while reflecting on the symbolic essence of Dussehra.

The contest saw active participation from multiple schools under CT University, and the winners were announced as follows:
    •    School of Design and Innovation
    •    School of Law
    •    Allied Health Sciences

The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Vice Chairman Mr. Harpreet Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Simranjit Kaur Gill, and Director of DSW, Er. Davinder Singh, whose presence added a special touch of encouragement for the students.

Sharing his thoughts on the celebration, Chancellor Sd. Charanjit Singh Channi remarked on the importance of cultural events in shaping creativity, teamwork, and moral values among students. Similarly, Vice Chancellor Dr. Nitin Tandon appreciated the dedication and enthusiasm of the students, emphasizing that events like these foster not just artistic skills, but also a sense of unity and healthy competition.

The Ravana Effigy Making Contest was not just a platform for creative expression but also an inspiring reminder of the victory of righteousness over wrongdoing, perfectly aligning with the spirit of Dussehra. The event concluded with vibrant celebrations and memorable experiences for all participants, reflecting the true essence of tradition and culture at CT University.
