CT University Celebrates 77th Republic Day with Patriotic Zeal

CT University celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm, bringing together students, faculty members, and NCC cadets to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1950.

The event featured a vibrant cultural programme that reflected the spirit of patriotism and unity. Students from different departments showcased their talents through a series of performances, creating an atmosphere filled with national pride.

Patriotic songs performed by students deeply moved the audience, as melodious tributes to the nation and freedom fighters echoed across the campus. These performances set a meaningful tone for the celebration.

Dance presentations followed, portraying India’s cultural diversity and the country’s journey as a republic. The blend of traditional and modern dance forms highlighted the nation’s heritage and progress, earning appreciation from everyone present.

Students also presented impactful skits focusing on themes such as constitutional values, social responsibility, unity, and national integration, adding depth and reflection to the occasion.

The NCC cadets of CT University impressed the audience with disciplined marching and coordinated flag drills. Their performance reflected dedication, precision, and respect for the nation.

One of the key moments of the ceremony was the oath-taking, where students and faculty members pledged to uphold the Constitution and contribute positively to the country’s growth and harmony.

Addressing the gathering, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh expressed pride in the collective participation and reminded everyone of the vision and sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters in building a democratic nation.

Er. Davinder Singh, Director, Department of Student Welfare (DSW), highlighted the role of education in shaping responsible citizens and emphasized the importance of nurturing ethical values and patriotism among the youth.
