BANDE BANO BANDE Leaves a Lasting Impact at CT University

CT University successfully organized a special stage play titled “BANDE BANO BANDE”, written and directed by renowned Punjabi actor and writer Rana Ranbir, at its Jagraon campus.

The event witnessed an overwhelming response from students, faculty members, and members of the local community, turning the evening into a powerful celebration of theatre, culture, and human values.

The cultural evening was organized in collaboration with Rantham Driving Academy, Surrey, and Hustle Motion Pictures, as part of CT University’s 25th anniversary celebrations, marking 25 years of excellence in education and holistic student development.

Adding dignity to the occasion, Mayor of Ludhiana, Inderjit Kaur, graced the event as the Chief Guest.

Her presence emphasized the importance of cultural initiatives in nurturing socially aware and emotionally grounded youth.

One of the most emotional moments of the evening was the heartfelt tribute paid to late Punjabi singer Rajvir Jwanda.

The presence of his mother and sister deeply moved the audience and artists alike, keeping his legacy alive in the hearts of the Punjabi entertainment fraternity and admirers.

The tribute served as a reminder of Rajvir Jwanda’s artistic contribution and enduring spirit.

The play “BANDE BANO BANDE” delivered a strong social message, reflecting on the evolution of human values and encouraging audiences to introspect and become better individuals. Rana Ranbir’s powerful storytelling and performance resonated strongly with the young audience, leaving a lasting impression.

Speaking on the occasion, Er. Davinder Singh, Director – Student Welfare, CT University, said,
“We are extremely proud to host such a meaningful theatrical performance during our 25th anniversary year. At CT University, we believe education goes beyond classrooms. Art and culture play a vital role in shaping responsible citizens. Rana Ranbir’s play beautifully conveys important life lessons. Expressing his gratitude, Rana Ranbir, writer and director of the play, said,
“I am thankful to CT University for inviting me to present ‘BANDE BANO BANDE’ at their campus. This play is very close to my heart, as it reflects on how humans can evolve into better beings. Performing in front of young students brings immense energy and hope. I am grateful to Mayor Inderjit Kaur for supporting cultural initiatives and deeply emotional about the presence of Rajvir Jwanda’s family. His memories will always remain with us.”
