CT University Ignites Creativity with Open Mic Season 5

CT University once again served as a vibrant platform for creative expression and youthful energy with the successful organisation of Open Mic Season 5.

The event, held on campus, brought together a diverse group of passionate speakers, storytellers, and performers, creating a dynamic space for voices to be heard and talents to shine.

This season witnessed overwhelming participation across different disciplines, who gathered not only to perform but also to listen, support, and celebrate each other’s stories and art. The event encapsulated CT University’s dedication to fostering a culture that encourages free expression, storytelling, and thought-provoking dialogue.

A host of impressive speakers graced the stage during the evening. Among them were Suruchi Sidhu, Sandeep K Jain, Jatinder Kumar, Manpreet Kaur, Sukhwinder Kaur, Taranjot Singh, Prabh Simran Kaur, and Umesh Chhabra, representing the well-known initiative Helping Hands.

Each performer shared personal narratives and inspirational stories, sparking emotion, laughter, and reflection among the attendees.

What made this season particularly memorable was the creative blend of storytelling and music. Prabh Simran Kaur and Umesh Chhabra stood out with their soulful singing, seamlessly woven into their narratives, adding depth and emotional resonance to their performances.

The event drew appreciation from the university’s leadership. Dr. Simran Gill, Pro Vice Chancellor of CT University, expressed her admiration for the young speakers and the platform itself, stating,
“Open Mic isn’t just a stage – it’s a mirror to the minds and hearts of our youth. It was moving to witness such authenticity, confidence, and creativity. These voices deserve to be heard beyond campus boundaries.”

Er. Davinder Singh, Director - Students’ Welfare, also shared his views, saying,
“We have always believed in giving our students the stage to express themselves. Open Mic Season 5 has once again proved how vibrant and multi-talented our student community is. We are proud to be part of their journeys.”

The success of Open Mic Season 5 has further reinforced CT University’s reputation as a hub for innovation, expression, and holistic student development.
