CT University's Talent Hunt Showcases Remarkable Student Talent

School: School of Hotel Management, Airlines and Tourism

CT University's Talent Hunt, organized by the Department of Student Welfare, was a resounding success, celebrating the diverse and exceptional talents within the student community. With over 200 participants from various disciplines, the event showcased a wide array of creative competitions, spanning Dance, Music, Theatre, Fine Arts, and Literary Events.

Among the standout performers and winners, Harmandeep Kaur from the School of Healthcare and Paramedical Sciences clinched the 1st place in Poster Making, while Anmolpreet Kaur secured the 2nd place in Mehndi. In the Poetry category, Harpreet Kaur (School of Healthcare and Paramedical Sciences) took the 1st place, and Deep Priya (School of Management Studies) claimed the 2nd place, with Gurvinder Singh (School of Healthcare and Paramedical Sciences) earning the 3rd place.

Singing categories saw remarkable talent shine, with Sanchi from the School of Law securing the 1st place in Classical Solo, while Komalpreet Kaur (School of Humanities and Physical Education) took the 1st place in Folk Solo. In the Western Solo category, Udgaa Mandal (School of Humanities and Physical Education) impressed the judges, earning the 1st place.

Dance enthusiasts also dazzled the audience, with Divayam and his team (School of Humanities and Physical Education) taking the 1st place in Group Dance Western, and Nisha and her team (School of Law) wowing the crowd with the 1st place in Group Dance Folk. In Music, Gurjit Singh (School of Law) excelled in Music Instrumental, and Vikram (School of Engineering and Technology) showcased his vocal prowess, securing 1st place in Music Vocal - Western and Folk, while also sharing the 1st place in Music Vocal - Classical with Gurjit Singh.

Asifa Gulzar (School of Management Studies) displayed her talent by winning the 1st place in Mimicry, while Divyam and Ankush (School of Humanities and Physical Education) left the audience in splits, earning the 1st place in Stand-Up Comedy. In the Skit category, Diyanshu and his team (School of Management Studies) claimed the 1st place, while Gurjot and team secured the 2nd place.

The Pro Vice-Chancellor of CT University expressed his delight in the remarkable showcase of talent, emphasizing the importance of such events in boosting students' confidence and personal development. The presence of esteemed figures like Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh and Deputy Director of the Department of Student Welfare Davinder Singh, along with dedicated faculty and enthusiastic students, made this event a memorable one. The event was judged by Deputy Director of Cultural Affairs, Sarghi Kaur Barring.
