CT University Hosts Prestigious 2-Day National-Level CBSE Exposure Visit for School Principals

An Immersive Journey into Innovation, Leadership, and Future-Ready Education

CT University proudly hosted a two-day National-Level CBSE Exposure Visit, bringing together over 60 school principals from across Punjab and neighboring regions. This significant initiative reinforced CT University’s reputation as a trailblazer in academic excellence, collaborative learning, and institutional leadership.

Held under the theme “A Gathering of Visionary Educators,” the event provided a unique platform for school heads to engage in critical dialogue, experience pedagogical innovations, and gain exposure to the evolving landscape of higher education. Participating institutions included esteemed schools such as Eastwood International School, Ludhiana; CT World School, Jalandhar; Shamrock World, Ropar; Oakridge International School, Mohali; Guru Nanak Public School, Mullanpur, among many others.

CT University is among the only two universities in Punjab selected to conduct this high-impact exposure visit, highlighting its strong academic credibility and future-ready vision.

The program commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, graced by the presence of notable dignitaries including Chancellor S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Nitin Tandon, Registrar Sanjay Khanduri, Dean Academics Dr. Simranjeet Kaur Gill, and Director of Student Welfare Er. Davinder Singh. The warm welcome set a collaborative and insightful tone for the days ahead.

Throughout the two-day journey, school leaders experienced a vibrant mix of expert-led workshops, live demonstrations, and campus exploration. A landmark moment of the event was the inauguration of the Satish Dhawan Centre of Skill Development, a progressive initiative aimed at bridging academic learning with hands-on industry skills. The principals were given an in-depth tour of CT University’s state-of-the-art facilities, including interdisciplinary labs, innovation studios, and student-centric spaces that reflect the university’s dedication to experiential learning.

Engaging academic sessions sparked thought leadership and meaningful takeaways. Harinder Singh, Director of IT, showcased cutting-edge ICT tools for classroom transformation. Pradip Kumar Yadava, Controller of Examinations, delivered a compelling session on Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy, offering educators a structured lens to strengthen teaching outcomes. Rishabh Sharma, Deputy Director HRDC and renowned Life & Leadership Coach, inspired participants with his dynamic address on “Transitioning from Authority to Influence,” challenging traditional notions of leadership and encouraging personal growth.

Day two focused on celebrating innovation across disciplines. Dr. Nitin Tandon highlighted the university’s expanding research culture, while Dr. Simranjeet Kaur Gill introduced the principals to emerging academic innovations and future-focused trends in education.

Specialised sessions brought academic advancements to life. Manan, Head of Design and Innovation, demonstrated the potential of 3D Gaming, Modelling, and Virtual Reality in education. Dr. Vir Vikram, Head of Pharmaceutical Sciences, shed light on research in healthcare and life sciences. Dr. Rupali Dhir, Associate Professor of CSE, introduced participants to the world of robotics and intelligent systems. Dr. Kamalpreet Kaur, Head of Management Studies, created an immersive experience through live management games and simulations, blending strategy, teamwork, and experiential learning.

A defining moment of the event was the keynote address by Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, who eloquently spoke on the role of Emotional Intelligence in Education. His powerful insights emphasised the need for empathy, self-awareness, and compassionate leadership in shaping not just institutions but individuals.

In his concluding remarks, Chancellor S. Charanjit Singh Channi expressed deep appreciation to all participating educators and reaffirmed the university’s vision.
