UDAAN University Youth Festival 2026: A Grand Celebration of Talent & Creativity

CT University witnessed an electrifying celebration of talent, creativity, and youthful spirit during its flagship cultural fest “UDAAN 2026”, held over two vibrant days.

The event brought together students from various schools, showcasing their artistic brilliance, intellectual strength, and cultural diversity.

Day 1: A Celebration of Expression & Creativity

The first day of UDAAN 2026 was dedicated to literary and fine arts competitions, where students enthusiastically participated and displayed exceptional talent.

The events included Debate, Elocution, Essay Writing, Quiz, Poetry Writing, Clay Modelling, Mehndi, Rangoli, Cartooning, Face Painting, and Poem Recitation. Each competition reflected the creativity, intellect, and originality of the participants.

A grand Cultural Procession added vibrancy to the campus, representing diverse traditions and cultures.

The day further witnessed energetic performances in Solo Dance (Western & Indian categories), where participants captivated the audience with their expressions, rhythm, and stage presence.

Day 2: A Power-Packed Showcase of Performing Arts

Day 2 elevated the excitement with a series of dynamic stage performances and visual storytelling.

The competitions included Skit, Solo Singing (Indian & Western), Choreography, Instrumental Solo, Mime, Nukkad Natak, and Photography. Each act reflected strong messages, creativity, and artistic excellence.

The highlight performances of the day included Group Dance where students impressed the audience with synchronized movements, innovative themes, and confident presentations.

A special attraction of the day was the visit of renowned Punjabi actor Binnu Dhillon and his team, who visited the campus for the promotion of their upcoming film Khushkhabri. Their presence added excitement and enthusiasm among the students.

Overall Winners of UDAAN 2026

The much-awaited results were announced during the Award Ceremony, recognizing the collective efforts and performances of various schools:
    •    1st Position: School of Social Sciences and Liberal Arts
    •    2nd Position: School of Engineering and Technology
    •    3rd Position: School of Allied Health Sciences


Vice Chairman’s Address

Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman of CT University, appreciated the efforts of all participants and organizers. He emphasized that platforms like UDAAN play a crucial role in nurturing talent beyond academics and encourage students to explore their creative potential.

He congratulated all the winners and participants for their dedication and spirit, and applauded the organizing team for successfully executing such a grand event.

Director DSW’s Remarks

Er. Davinder Singh, Director DSW, expressed his pride in witnessing the overwhelming participation and improved performance levels compared to previous editions.

He appreciated the teamwork, coordination, and enthusiasm shown by all departments and organizing teams. He also encouraged students to continue participating in such activities that contribute to their holistic development.
