CT University Organises Mega Blood Donation Camp in Collaboration with Samvedna Trust, Collects Over 250 Units

CT University, Ludhiana, in association with Samvedna Trust, successfully organised a Mega Blood Donation Camp on its campus in collaboration with Guru Nanak Dev Charitable Health Care Society. The initiative witnessed an overwhelming response from students, faculty, and staff, reflecting a strong commitment towards social responsibility and community welfare.

The camp was conducted with the support of Civil Hospital, Ludhiana and New Kokila Blood Center, Jagraon. A dedicated team of 15 experienced doctors and medical professionals ensured the smooth, safe, and efficient execution of the camp. With enthusiastic participation, more than 250 units of blood were successfully collected, marking a significant contribution towards saving lives.

The university management ensured that all donors were well taken care of throughout the process, with proper medical supervision, strict hygiene protocols, and post-donation care. Refreshments and nutritious eatables were also provided to all donors as a gesture of appreciation for their noble contribution.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of the Editor-in-Chief of Punjab Kesari, Vijay Kumar Chopra, whose presence added prestige and encouragement to the initiative.

Key dignitaries from CT University included Chancellor, Sd. Charanjit Singh Channi, Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, and Director Student Welfare Er. Davinder Singh, who actively participated in the event and motivated the donors.

The occasion also witnessed the presence of esteemed members from Samvedna Trust, including Chairman Subhash Gupta and Manager Jajpreet Singh, along with representatives from Guru Nanak Dev Charitable Health Care Society—Chairman Ajit Kumar Nain and President Krishan Kumar Nain—who appreciated the collective efforts.

Speaking on the occasion, Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh said,
