CT University Welcome New Year with a Sustainable Initiative by Recycling Answer Sheets into Notepads

Marking the beginning of the New Year with a meaningful and responsible gesture, students of CT University took a commendable initiative by recycling used examination answer sheets to create eco-friendly notepads.

Instead of letting used papers go to waste, the students transformed them into useful stationery, spreading a strong message of sustainability, creativity, and environmental consciousness.

This initiative not only reduced paper waste but also highlighted the importance of recycling as a daily practice rather than a one-time activity.

By promoting recycling at the start of the New Year, CT University students emphasized that small steps can lead to significant environmental impact.

Recycling helps conserve natural resources, reduces the burden on landfills, saves energy, and minimizes pollution.

Through this thoughtful activity, students encouraged society especially the youth to adopt responsible habits and make eco-friendly choices part of their lifestyle.

Commenting on the initiative, Pro-Chancellor of CT University, Dr. Manbir Singh, said:
“This initiative beautifully reflects the values CT University stands for innovation, responsibility, and sustainability. I am proud of our students for starting the New Year with such a purposeful act. Recycling answer sheets into notepads sends a strong message that education goes beyond classrooms and exams; it shapes responsible citizens for the future.”

Vice-Chancellor of CT University, Dr. Nitin Tandon, also appreciated the students’ efforts and stated:
“Our students have demonstrated that meaningful change begins with awareness and action. This recycling initiative not only promotes environmental protection but also inspires others to think creatively about waste management. Such activities strengthen our commitment to sustainable development and experiential learning.”

The New Year recycling drive stands as a reminder that every individual can contribute to environmental preservation. CT University continues to encourage student-led initiatives that combine social responsibility, innovation, and community awareness, reinforcing its commitment to building a greener and more sustainable future.
