Bachelor of Science (Honours) Anesthesia (Lateral Entry)
Anesthesia technicians are well versed with the pharmacology of anesthetic & non anesthetic drugs, their preparation, dilution, labeling. They are trained in preparing & operating the Anesthesia Machine, Anesthesia trolley, suction machine, medical gas system , working of OT tables, various gases used in OT, inhalational agents usage. They assist with the administration and monitoring of anaesthesia and have extensive knowledge of anaesthesia techniques, instruments, supplies, and technology. B.Sc Anesthesia technicians are also eligible for Teaching along their experience. Surgery before, during and after the Surgery.
By choosing this stream, the Students will get to know about the Equipments & Machines used in anaesthesia & will be able to operate all modern Anaesthesia Equipments. This Programme will ensure overall professional development of students & in their behaviour, manners and verbal conversations.
Diploma in Anesthesia Technology completing after 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects from recognized board and having atleast 50% marks
Merit in CT-SET, subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria.

Anaesthesia Technologists will provide safe & quality patient care by using their technical & critical thinking while assisting the Anaesthesiologist. This Programme will give students knowledge of basic Science like Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Haematology & Pathology etc.
The Students who will Complete this Programme will be able to have a lifelong knowledge of Anaesthesia & all the Equipments used in it along with basic science knowledge. Anaesthesia Technology is a new stream in Allied Sciences & there is a Major need of these professionals. Thus, Creating a vast employability option. Anaesthesia Technicians/Assistants will work in Operation Theatres, ICUs etc. along with Anaesthesiologists & thus will be having a great & Important role in hospital & ensuring their sustainability.
