CT University Celebrates World Book Day with Book Donation Drive

CT University's Department of Student Welfare marks World Book Day by hosting a book donation drive.  Students and faculty from various disciplines united to contribute to this noble cause, showcasing their dedication to promoting reading and sharing knowledge.

The event garnered an overwhelming response, with generous donations pouring in from both students and faculty. Some books will enrich the university library, while others will be given to students in need who cannot afford to purchase books.

This initiative not only instils a culture of reading among students but also underscores the importance of giving back to the community by sharing educational resources.

Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Dean Academics Dr. Simran, and Director, Department of Student Welfare, Davinder Singh, led the initiative, highlighting CT University's commitment to comprehensive education and community involvement.

Dr. Abhishek Tripathi emphasized the transformative power of books, stating, "Books have the power to transform lives and shape futures. By participating in this donation drive, our students and faculty have demonstrated their dedication to fostering a culture of learning and knowledge-sharing."

Dr. Simran echoed this sentiment, noting, "Reading not only enhances academic excellence but also nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and empathy. We commend our students and faculty for their enthusiastic participation in this initiative."
