Dr. Aijaz Ahmad Bhat holds PhD in Management Studies, with his doctoral research focusing on Green Banking and Customer Satisfaction. Dr. Bhat served as the Coordinator for the Center for Climate Change Youth Parliament. This role involved direct engagement in Green Projects and Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation, offering vital insights into real-world challenges and implementation related to climate change. Dr. Bhat has extensively published in reputable journals, including Scopus Q1, on topics such as green banking practices, environmental performance and corporate social responsibility. He has also reviewed approximately 35 papers for around 10 Q1 journals covering climate change, green banking, green finance and sustainability. His efforts related to Green Kashmir and Clean Kashmir were recognized and rewarded by the J&K Government. Furthermore, Dr. Bhat has completed a Climate Finance Certification course from UNDP, a Sustainable Finance Certification course from UNDP and the J&K Changemakers Fellowship Program at The Bridge Institute UK. He actively contributes to climate change resilience through both his practical work and research.
