CT University came alive with the vibrant colours, music and traditions of Teej 2026, as the Division of Student Welfare organised a grand celebration at the Multipurpose Hall, bringing together students and members of the university fraternity in the true spirit of Punjabi culture, tradition and togetherness.

The celebration beautifully captured the essence of Teej, with the venue transformed into a colourful festive space reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Punjab. Students enthusiastically participated in a variety of activities and cultural presentations, creating an atmosphere filled with joy, energy and celebration.

A major highlight of the event was the cultural performances, where students showcased the richness of Punjabi traditions through graceful dance, soulful music and vibrant folk presentations. Traditional attire and festive décor further enhanced the ambience, giving the celebrations an authentic Teej feel.

Adding to the festive experience were specially curated Teej-themed stalls, which attracted students throughout the event. The food stalls offered a variety of delicious festive delicacies, while the Mehndi stalls allowed students to adorn their hands with beautiful and intricate traditional designs. The colourful bangle stalls were another major attraction, giving students an opportunity to embrace the traditional charm associated with Teej.

From music and dance to food, Mehndi, bangles and traditional celebrations, the event offered a complete festive experience and provided students with an opportunity to connect with their cultural roots while enjoying the spirit of togetherness.

Dr. Nitin Tandon, Vice Chancellor, CT University, said, “Teej is much more than a festival; it is a beautiful celebration of our cultural heritage, relationships and collective happiness.
