CT University Successfully Hosts AIU North Zone Inter-University Badminton Women Championship 2025

CT University, Ludhiana successfully organized the AIU North Zone Inter-University Badminton Women Championship (Women) from 10th to 14th December 2025, reinforcing its commitment to promoting competitive sports and holistic student development.

The championship was conducted under the aegis of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and witnessed participation from more than 50 universities across the North Zone.

The five-day sporting event showcased exceptional talent, discipline, and sportsmanship, with players competing at an elite level for qualification to national platforms.

The university ensured world-class infrastructure, smooth coordination, and adherence to AIU norms, making the championship a grand success.

After intense matches, the Top Four Teams emerged as:
    1.    Chitkara University
    2.    Lovely Professional University (LPU), Jalandhar
    3.    Panjab University, Chandigarh
    4.    CT University, Ludhiana

These teams have earned qualification for the All India Inter-University Badminton Women Championship and the prestigious Khelo India University Games, marking a significant achievement for the participating institutions.

Expressing his satisfaction over the successful conduct of the championship, Sd. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chancellor, CT University, stated:
