CT University and Khed Bharati Punjab Join Hands for a Nasha-Mukt Punjab

“Nasheya Toh Azadi – Mission Zindagi: Yudh Nashian Virudh”

In a powerful and inspiring initiative to build a drug-free Punjab, CT University, Ludhiana, in collaboration with Khed Bharati Punjab, organised an interactive and thought-provoking panel discussion titled “Nasheya Toh Azadi – Mission Zindagi: Yudh Nashian Virudh.”

The event was a part of the collective mission to raise awareness about the detrimental effects of drug abuse and to encourage the youth towards a healthier and more purposeful life.

The event brought together a distinguished panel of national icons and experts who have made significant contributions in their respective fields and are strong advocates for social reform.

The panel included Mr. Universe 1988, Padma Shri and Arjuna Awardee Premchand Degra, Dronacharya Awardee Shiv Singh, Former Director of the National Institute of Sports, Patiala, Dr. I.P. Nagi, and State President of Khed Bharati Punjab, Mr. Arvind Singh Rana.

Their powerful messages and life experiences deeply resonated with the students and attendees, emphasising the importance of discipline, sportsmanship, and making the right life choices.

The event was graced with the presence of Padam Passi, Director of the All India Cricket Association, who was honoured for his unwavering dedication to sports development and youth engagement in India.

His presence served as a motivational beacon for the students and faculty alike.

Mr. Arvind Singh Rana, State President of Khed Bharati Punjab, shared his thoughts on the occasion, stating, “This movement is not just an event, it is a revolution. We aim to instill strength, discipline, and direction in our youth. With the support of educational institutions like CT University, we can turn the tide against drug abuse.”

Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Vice Chancellor of CT University, also expressed his commitment towards this noble cause, remarking, “CT University stands firm in its resolve to create a better, healthier, and drug-free society. Through awareness, education, and community collaboration, we can empower students to make informed decisions that shape their future positively.”

The event witnessed an enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty.

Representing CT University were Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Nitin Tandon, Registrar Sanjay Khanduri, Dean of Academics Dr. Simranjeet Kaur Gill, and Director of Student Welfare Er. Davinder Singh.

Their active involvement and support underlined the institution’s commitment to social responsibility and youth empowerment.

The panel discussion concluded with an open house interaction where students engaged with the dignitaries, asking questions and sharing perspectives.

The session ended on a high note of inspiration, motivation, and collective resolve to say “No” to drugs and “Yes” to life.
