CT University Strengthens Healthcare Learning Through White Coat Ceremony and Expert Sessions

Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to producing skilled, compassionate, and industry-ready healthcare professionals, the School of Allied and Healthcare, CT University, successfully organized a two-day series of academic and professional events, including the White Coat Ceremony, inauguration of the Advanced Exercise Therapy and Biomechanics Lab, and expert sessions by renowned healthcare professionals.

The first day commenced with the White Coat Ceremony, marking the formal induction of the new batch of healthcare students into their professional journey. The ceremony was graced by Dr. Gagan, Dental Surgeon and Aesthetic Expert, as the Chief Guest, who also delivered an inspiring expert lecture on ethics, professionalism, and compassionate patient care. Addressing the aspiring healthcare professionals, she encouraged students to uphold integrity, empathy, and continuous learning as the foundation of a successful medical career.

Students proudly donned their white coats and took the Professional Oath, reaffirming their commitment to serving humanity with dedication and ethical responsibility. A specially curated Display Gallery showcasing innovative student projects, research initiatives, and departmental achievements reflected the University’s emphasis on experiential learning, innovation, and academic excellence.

Dt. Simrat Kathuria Highlights Preventive Healthcare; CT University Inaugurates Advanced Exercise Therapy & Biomechanics Lab

The second day witnessed the inauguration of the Advanced Exercise Therapy and Biomechanics Lab, a significant addition to CT University’s healthcare infrastructure that will strengthen clinical education, rehabilitation practices, research, and hands-on learning for physiotherapy students. Equipped with advanced therapeutic and biomechanical assessment facilities, the laboratory is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical practice.

The occasion was further enriched with an expert session on “The Diet–Exercise Equation for Health” by Dt. Simrat Kathuria, Nutrition Scientist and Lifestyle Disease Reversal Expert. During her insightful lecture, she emphasized the importance of balanced nutrition, regular physical activity, and preventive healthcare in combating lifestyle diseases. She encouraged students to embrace evidence-based healthcare practices and promote holistic wellness in their professional careers.

Pro Chancellor, Dr. Manbir Singh, congratulated the School of Allied and Healthcare for successfully organizing the academic events and said, “Healthcare education today demands much more than classroom learning.
