CT University & Ludhiana Police Ignite Community Spirit with WOW “Wow Weekend of Wellness”

A vibrant celebration of fitness, unity, and purpose under the theme “ਯੁੱਧ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ” to champion a drug-free and healthy Punjab.

In a remarkable initiative aimed at fostering a healthy lifestyle and promoting a drug-free society, CT University, in collaboration with the Commissionerate Police of Ludhiana, successfully organised the “Wow Weekend of Wellness”.

The event was held under the impactful and action-oriented theme “ਯੁੱਧ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ” (War Against Drugs), which is part of a flagship initiative led by the Government of Punjab.

The event served as a powerful platform to unite the community in a collective stand against substance abuse while encouraging physical fitness, mental wellness, and community engagement.

The city of Ludhiana came alive with energy and enthusiasm as people from all walks of life—children, youth, adults, and senior citizens—participated in a vibrant and diverse array of wellness activities. The event created an electric atmosphere filled with positivity, laughter, and unity.

The event featured a wide spectrum of engaging activities designed to appeal to a broad audience.

Highlights included horse riding, open DJ, basketball and a singing competition.

Each event was met with enthusiastic participation and spirited competition, reflecting the community’s shared commitment to wellness and a drug-free lifestyle.

One of the most memorable parts of the event was a series of fun-filled races that brought participants and spectators together in a moment of joy and camaraderie.

The races sparked loud cheers and laughter from the audience. It was a moment that exemplified the spirit of the event—bringing people together in the name of health, fun, and collective purpose.

The event was graced by the presence of several distinguished dignitaries, including Er. Davinder Singh, Director of Student Welfare and
Karan Bhardwaj, Associate Director of Admissions Branding Head and Dr. Pankaj Jain, Director Training and Placement Cell.

Their active involvement also inspired many young participants to view health and wellness as integral to academic and personal success.

The “Wow Weekend of Wellness” ultimately proved to be far more than a celebration of physical activity.
