I am an evolutionary biologist with a primary focus on the species delimitation, molecular phylogenetics, biogeography, and metagenomics of invertebrates. I ask questions about how past events lead to the current diversity and distribution of species, and why some taxa are confined to specific places while other taxa have vast distributions. And how microbiota aid in the adaptations of taxa with respect to their environments.
