CT University hereby informs all prospective students that the Directorate of Higher Education, Punjab has issued an official directive regarding the recognition of Hunar Sikhia School (HSS) Senior Secondary (10+2) certification for higher education admissions.

As per the notification issued by the Office of the Director Higher Education, Punjab (Memo No. Office/Coll.Edu.(2)/285 dated 26.02.2026), the Hunar Sikhia School (HSS) Programme, implemented from the academic session 2025–26, is affiliated with the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). Students completing this programme are awarded the PSEB Senior Secondary (10+2) Pass Certificate, which is recognized equivalent to the Senior Secondary certificates of conventional streams.

Accordingly, the HSS Senior Secondary (10+2) Certificate will be accepted as valid qualification for admission to undergraduate, diploma, and certificate programmes where a 10+2 qualification is required.

Key provisions include:

• The PSEB-issued HSS 10+2 certificate will be treated as fulfilling eligibility requirements for higher education admissions.
• Marks obtained in HSS subjects will be considered while calculating aggregate percentages and eligibility criteria.
• Functional English studied under HSS will be recognized as meeting the English subject requirement wherever applicable.
• Eligible HSS students can apply for multidisciplinary, general, and professional programmes, subject to the minimum eligibility norms.
• HSS trade subjects will be recognized for admission into relevant degree, diploma, and certification programmes.
• HSS students will be treated at par with all other 10+2 students for scholarships, financial assistance, and other benefits.
• These directions will be implemented from the academic session 2026–27 onwards.
• Students who have completed their Senior Secondary (10+2) under the Hunar Sikhia School programme are encouraged to apply for admissions at CT University as per the prescribed eligibility criteria.
