Update on Mandatory NEET Requirement for BPT Admissions (AY 2026–27)
This is to inform all prospective students that the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, has issued an update regarding the admission criteria for the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) programme.
Earlier, it was notified that NEET (UG) would be mandatory for admission to BPT from the Academic Year 2026–27. However, as per the latest notification dated 02 March 2026, the mandatory requirement of appearing in NEET (UG) for BPT admissions has been deferred until the Academic Year 2027–28.
Accordingly, for the Academic Year 2026–27, admissions to the BPT programme at CT University will be conducted without the mandatory NEET requirement.
