In accordance with the directions issued by the Department of Higher Education, Punjab, vide Memo No. Office/Coll.Edu.(2)/285 dated 26.02.2026, CT University hereby notifies that the PSEB-issued Hunar Sikhia School (HSS) Senior Secondary (10+2) Pass Certificate shall be recognised for admission to higher education programmes with effect from Academic Session 2026-27 onwards.

1. The HSS Senior Secondary (10+2) Certificate shall be treated at par with other recognised Senior Secondary (10+2) qualifications for fulflling the prescribed eligibility requirements for undergraduate, diploma and certificate programmes.

2. Marks obtained in HSS subjects shall be considered for determining the aggregate percentage and eligibility, wherever minimum percentage requirements are prescribed.

3. Functional English studied under the HSS programme shall be recognised for fulfilling the prescribed English subject requirement, wherever applicable.

4. Eligible HSS candidates may seek admission to multidisciplinary, general and professional programmes, subject to fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility criteria.

5. HSS trade subjects shall be considered for admission to programmes aligned with the respective course specialisations. Where required, appropriate bridge/foundation modules may be provided during the first year of study. Admission shall not be denied solely on the basis of the trade-based curriculum.

6. HSS Senior Secondary candidates shall be treated at par with other Senior Secondary candidates for applicable scholarships, financial assistance, fee concessions and other institutional or Government benefits.
