About the Programme

The BCA + MCA Integrated Programme is a five-year comprehensive degree designed to equip students with strong foundational knowledge in computer applications along with advanced competencies in software development, data management, web technologies, cloud computing, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and enterprise-level application development. The Programme follows an outcome-based approach, ensuring that graduates acquire both theoretical and hands-on skills required in the rapidly evolving IT industry.

By integrating undergraduate (BCA) and postgraduate (MCA) curricula, the Programme offers seamless progression from basic programming and computer fundamentals to advanced computing, research methodology, and industry-ready professional skills.

The Programme emphasizes real-world exposure and experiential learning, including:

  • Internships and Industry Training with IT companies, startups, and software development firms.
  • Live Projects and Capstone Projects during senior years in collaboration with industry partners.

Eligibility Criteria

Having passed Matriculation examination AND have also passed 3 Years Diploma in any Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or such Examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education, or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal. 
OR
Passing of 10+2 examination with 1 year Diploma in Computer Application / IT [or equivalent) from a recognized University with Mathematics as course at 10+2 or DIT / DCA level,
