Professional Enhancement Cell is CT University’s dedicated skill development arm, designed to align academic excellence with real-world industry needs. Established in January 2021, PEC bridges the gap between academic learning and industry expectations through a blend of soft skills, technical training, and career counselling. A core part of this initiative is the Professional Enhancement Cell (PEC), which delivers a holistic blend of technical, soft skills, language proficiency, and value-based courses across all degree programs — in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Our Professional Enhancement Cell (PEC) comprises highly qualified and passionate educators, trainers, and industry professionals dedicated to equipping CT University students with the skills, confidence, and mindset to excel in their careers.


Dr. Roop Kanwal – Assistant Professor & Head of Department
Qualifications: UGC-NET, Ph.D. in English, M.A. English (Gold Medal), DELF A2 & B1 (French)
Expertise: Foreign languages (French, Korean, Spanish), creative writing, research, curriculum design, communication skills.
Profile: A gold medalist from Panjab University, Dr. Roop Kanwal has over 6.5 years of experience in language teaching, literature, and communication skills. She is an accomplished author and researcher, regularly conducting webinars and faculty development programs to enhance teaching innovation.


Ms. Ritu Bhalla – Assistant Professor & Communication Skills Trainer
Qualifications: M.A. (English & Education), B.Ed.
Expertise: English grammar, verbal ability, soft skills, IELTS, personality development.
Profile: With 12 years of experience, Ms. Bhalla specializes in empowering learners to communicate fluently and confidently. She has conducted numerous workshops on interview skills, time management, and spoken English, and actively participates in research and faculty development programs.


Ms. Anshu Mala Sharma – Assistant Professor & Soft Skills Trainer
Qualifications: M.A. English, B.Ed., PGDMC, Pursuing Ph.D. in English
Expertise: Language training, communication skills, soft skills, research.
Profile: With over a decade of teaching experience, Ms. Sharma blends literature scholarship with professional training expertise, helping students strengthen their verbal and interpersonal skills.


Ms. Jasmeet Kaur – Assistant Professor & Communication Skills Trainer
Qualifications: B.Tech, B.Ed.
Expertise: Communication skills, placement training, IELTS, and event management.
Profile: Ms. Kaur has over 7 years of experience enhancing students’ verbal and interview skills for competitive placement tests. She has completed "Train the Trainer" programs with British Council and IDP.


Mr. Sahil Sharma – Assistant Professor & Analytical Trainer
Qualifications: B.com and B.Ed and Persuing MBA (Finance)
Expertise: Analytical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, logical problem-solving, competitive exam preparation and student Counselling.
Profile: Specializing in quantitative aptitude and analytical reasoning, Mr. Sharma designs interactive training sessions to prepare students for placement drives and competitive exams.
