CT University Hosts Successful CTU Model United Nations (CTU MUN) 2024

CT University's Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) proudly organized the CTU Model United Nations (CTU MUN) 2024, a dynamic platform for young minds to engage in meaningful discussions on global issues. The event, held at CT University's premises, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing various esteemed institutions across India.

Distinguished guests, Captain Dharmveer Singh, an esteemed ex-army officer, TEDx speaker, runner, and Fit India ambassador, along with Mr. Gautam Singal, AIG HRD Punjab, graced the occasion, inspiring students to take on leadership roles in addressing pressing global challenges.

CTU MUN 2024 facilitated the development of essential skills such as research, public speaking, and negotiation among participating students. Through engaging simulations of the All India Political Party Meet (AIPPM) and the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), students gained invaluable insights into the intricacies of diplomacy and international relations.

The AIPPM simulation, focusing on center-state relations in India, provided a platform for students to debate and analyze critical national issues, fostering their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Meanwhile, the UNGA simulation delved into the complex topic of refugee rights, encouraging students to explore innovative solutions to address this pressing global concern.

Recognizing outstanding performances, CTU MUN 2024 awarded prizes to two High Commendation awardees, two Best Delegate awardees, as well as accolades for Verbal mention, Best Photographer, and Best Journalist.

Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Vice Chancellor of CT University, highlighted the significance of CTU MUN 2024 in providing students with a holistic learning experience, enriching their understanding of both national and international affairs. He extended heartfelt congratulations to all the winners for their exemplary contributions.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of CT University's Vice Chancellor, Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Director IQAC, Mr. Sanjay Khanduri, and Deputy Director IQAC, Dr. Divya Khurana.

Ms. Ishika from the School of Law served as the General Secretary of CTU MUN, while Mr. Abhishek Kapoor provided invaluable guidance as the Advisor for Model CTU MUN 2024, ensuring the event's success.
